About Kate

Kate was born to Carole and Michael Middleton on January 09, 1982. She has one sister, Pippa, and one brother, James. Her birth name is Catherine Elizabeth Middleton.

Kate went to St. Andrews University from 2001-2005 and finished with an undergraduate MA in History of Art. This is where she met William.

William and Kate dated on and off for eight years. On November 16th, 2010, William and Kate announced their engagement.

The couple married on April 29th, 2011 in Westminster Abbey. After their marriage, Kate became officially known Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge, Countess of Strathearn and Lady Carrickfergus.

On July 22nd, 2013, Kate gave birth to her first son, named George. His official name is His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.

Kate is involved in The Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry, the Art Room, National Portrait Gallery, London, East Anglia's Children's Hospice, Action on Addiction, Place2be, Natural History Museum, and Sportsaid.
